I'm building a vertical slice and looking for help: a VFX artist, a 3D voxel artist and a ship designer. Contributors get a revenue share based on the work they complete.
What you do in Auto-Astra
Build ships, write the code that flies them, then take them out among the factions
Voxel ship building
Design ships block by block. Where you put armor, engines and weapon mounts changes how the ship handles, from a small frigate up to a capital ship.
Lua scripting
Program your ships in Lua to automate mining or write your own combat AI. The game has a built-in editor, plus a live console for testing code against a ship while it runs.
Fleet command
Give each ship in your fleet a role and send them out together. Your scripts decide what they do when you aren't flying them yourself.
Trading
Buy and sell resources and ship components at station markets. Prices follow supply and demand, so the same cargo is worth more in some star systems than in others.
Shared blueprints
Upload your ship designs to this site and download other players'. A downloaded blueprint opens in the editor, so you can take it apart and change it.
Factions and co-op
Several star systems are held by NPC factions with their own stations and traffic. Play alone, or bring friends in co-op over your local network.
